Birdbath ice starting to melt out by noon today

I can tell that the weather is very slowly starting to warm a little here in California near San Francisco on the coast because the ice in our bird bath outside was solid again at 9 am this morning but is beginning to melt out by noon. I was also looking at weather reports where the lows are going to start to be in the 40s again instead of the 20s or low 30s and the highs instead of being in the low to high 40s will be in the 50s again which is more normal for this time of year here on the northern California coast.
