continues to move east on Saturday, promising more rain, snow and storms
along the East Coast.

- Snow will fall in an area of over 1,000 miles
- Boston area could see 8-14 inches of snow
Forecasts call for heavy snow and freezing rain across the Northeast and the northern Mid-Atlantic through Sunday afternoon.
Millions of people will experience the big chill as the system will drop snow on an area of more than 1,000 miles.
Chicago may be one of the
hardest-hit areas. The snow falling there is expected to be wet, making
it heavy and difficult to shovel.
Areas south of Chicago could see 4-6 inches of snow.
New Yorkers could see 3-5 inches of snow Saturday afternoon and evening, followed by sleet and freezing rain overnight.
The Boston area is
expected to get some of the heaviest snowfall, with 8-14 inches forecast
north and west of the city. Strong winds could create limited
visibility.
The nation's capital will see a mix of rain, snow and sleet, and further to the south, the same system will bring cold and rain.
There will be a slight risk of severe storms Saturday for parts of Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
