In our society often girls are conditioned to say "No" and I think this is good because this prevents a whole lot of unnecessary births to people who aren't married.
But, this same conditioning might not allow some girls to "EVER" say yes. So, the best they can do is to say nothing, have sex, and then complain that they didn't want sex.
For this, overconditioned girl who might never be able to say "Yes" even to the very right man in her life I think this new "Yes means Yes" legislation is going to be problematic.
However, there are always going to be some people for whom laws don't ever work.
Also, there is a lot of peer pressure to have sex and some might just have sex to say they did it. This is another problem when later that girl doesn't want to tell friends or relatives "Who" she had sex with. So, does she lie and say she said "No" when she actually said yes and conveniently forgot thereby endangering the man she said yes to?
I think this is always going to be a problem and put some men in jail when they shouldn't be.
But then, men if they are stupid enough to be with a girl this confused in the first place might deserve whatever they get.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
