You've got to get to know her

Regarding the California "Yes Means Yes" law.

My friend and I were talking about this law and even though it isn't perfect and at first may cause more problems than solutions it might help more girls stay in college and not get raped while there.

He was saying across the U.S. around 10,000 girls a year are raped and drop out of college because of a lack of legal or moral support from those colleges. He thought that now 100 more boys are going to go to jail and less of these girls are going to drop out of college because there will be less rapes as more boys go to jail and their lives are ruined.

So, even though more boys lives will be ruined many more girls lives will be saved and they will graduate and have careers instead of getting raped at college.

He was saying with any law there will be problems on the fringes of that law.

So, basically all you college guys out there in California UCs and State universities and junior colleges, you need to read this new law or you will be in jail very soon.

So, you need to "Really get to know this girl" before you ask her to have sex with you so you know if she is a nut job or not so she doesn't put you in jail for rape whether you did it or not.

What I did find is that 19% of college women say they were raped at some point during their college experience which is interesting because also around 20% of all people experience some kind of physical or sexual abuse during their lives(20 to 25%).

I took a college Class at UCSC and there were about 500 students in the Class. I believe it was a clas in Child Psychology. The professor at one point had everyone who had experience physical or sexual abuse during their lives to hold up their hands. Amazingly between 100 and 125 students held up their hands. Next, he asked for volunteers to tell their experiences. One girl said her father got drunk and drove a knife through her hand into the table. However, it didn't ruin her hand because the blade missed the bones and tendons mostly. She showed us all the scar so the direction of the blade had to be in the direction of the bones and didn't cause permanent damage.

So, physical and sexual abuse is something 20% to 25 percent of everyone in the U.S. has or will experience at some time during their lives.

So, all you college guys out there if you want to stay out of jail really get to know a college girl before you ask her for sex so you don't just wind up in jail from an actual rape or from some girl who is just a nut job.
