People in the Western World often don't think this way. However, ultimately this is true for every individual on earth.
Imagine someone in the wilds somewhere believing in almost anything as they grow up wild. Then, they meet other human beings who have been taught to believe something completely alien to them.
Which belief system is right? Which belief system is wrong?
There really is no way to make this judgement in any useful way.
However, if there is only one person with one belief system and there are many with another belief system, then the one might try to "appear" to share the belief system of the many only because survival might be more useful to pretend to believe what others believe.
Otherwise, the many others might harm or kill the one that has a different belief system.
However, is what the many believe more true than what the one person believes?
No, not necessarily.
Understanding this is a very powerful thing for any single human to understand.
Is Science true because it is true or because we believe it is true?
Are all religions true because we believe they are true or are they true in an of themselves?
Do we exist because we believe we exist or do we exist independently of our belief of whether we exist or not?
One can visit people on the streets or in a mental institution who don't believe they are here like you and I do on any day. They live in a completely different world than we do with different parameters.
Are they wrong or are they right?
We might say that what they believe interferes with their survival as a human being on earth.
But, is that true?
Whatever you believe is true for you, individually.
However, what anyone else believes is also true for them individually.
However, what anyone believes is true for them and you cannot change that.
So, most people pretend to believe similar things so they don't have to kill each other or be killed.
This is called being polite.
But this is how people keep from killing each other so much.
But, people are going to believe whatever they are going to believe in the end, both individually and collectively.
Now here is my question for you.
Do we exist because we believe we exist or do we exist independently of whether we exist or not?
One could make the statement that many believe which is: "We exist because God believes we exist."
But then, what about people who don't believe in God?
If people who don't believe in God then don't they exist?
Maybe in the end all this isn't important and what might be important is what do you believe in your heart of hearts?
Because whatever you believe creates your whole life in every way each moment of every single day.
What you believe might create or end your existence on any given day.
So, be very careful what you choose to believe.
Because all beliefs are ultimately a choice.
Even though that choice is often too much for many people to make consciously.
But, I can make that choice and maybe you can too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
