This has been really remarkable to get as much rain as we have been getting so far. Also, the weather patterns are very odd when I look at a weather radar. They now are moving East and South and then going in a northeast direction all the way up into Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada which I found sort of odd too. The rain is heading south from here towards San Luis Obispo or further south before heading north to Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada.
However, after taking some beach sand and rerouting rivulets around my house from building up against the house I haven't had any problems with water going places it shouldn't. And I think my long French drain several feet deep across the back fence of my back yard is doing it's job of keeping water from going under my house and rerouting it around the house and out into the street in front.
