I think it is less dangerous to the United States directly now. However, if it is forced back into just being a terrorist group without land to get money from, I think it then would be more dangerous to the United States Homeland and the homelands of everyone in the coalition in revenge for ending the Islamic State at some point in the future.

However, right now, it is so dangerous to every government in the Middle East's ongoing existence I don't think many people are worrying about this: YET! Also, it is so dangerous towards the extinction of every minority from Shia to Christian to Yazidi to whatever, people aren't thinking this way much yet. The main business is not to have all Shias and Christians and Yazidis in the Middle East go extinct permanently at this  point because there might be a danger of this, especially in Iraq and Syria and possibly Lebanon.
