In any territory governed presently by ISIL all minorities are already dead unless they are breed able women or girls. If they are breed able women or girls they are soon impregnated against their wills and forced to either carry those babies to term or die so that those force raped women and girls now with children raise the next generation of ISIL fighters. So, as soon as 9 years from now you might see them blowing themselves up for ISIL if it still exists then.
What this means in real terms is that anyone who was Shia, Christian, Yazidi, Turk men or any other minorities including secularists, atheists or whatever have either run away, been beheaded, crucified or have sworn allegiance to ISIL whether they believe in ISIL or not. Because this would be the only way to stay alive.
This reminds me of the twisted logic of a Drug Cartel Gang where the life expectancy of such a person is somewhere between 15 to 25 years of age because of the risky behavior demanded by the drug cartel ongoing.
So, likely we are going to continue to see large swaths of land with no Shias or Christians or other minorities of any kind left alive, with all their properties confiscated by ISIL officers. And this whole thing could go on for years and years or until whenever ISIL runs out of money or girls to pay their fighters with.
So, likely the U.S. and other nations should look for more ways to dry up ISIL funding and fighters if they are serious about ending all this.
Otherwise, you are going to see every government in the middle east collapse under the weight of ISIL or other similar organizations over the next 5 to 10 to 20 years.
