As my wife and I came out of a little movie theater not too far from where we live I saw rivers of water coursing down the street. After the drought year we have seen this was sort of unusual but it is also true that where there was nothing but dry ground many places green things are trying to grow now from various times it has tried to rain here. However, today was one of the first times to see so much water running down the paved streets which tells me that some of the ground might be getting saturated by rain. This can be both a good thing or a bad thing or both depending upon how you see it.
Any way you look at it these rain storms will help us have enough water in northern California all the way down as far as Solvang this time to keep going in our dams, reservoirs, water tables and wells etc.
It looks to be snowing really hard in many parts of the High Sierrra mountains too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
