The reason for this is simple.
Only here on earth in a physical body (or in a physical body on any other planet) can you create karma both good, bad, and indifferent. Often your intentions are good but sometimes still bad things happen.
So, because of the accidental nature in some ways of living in a human body here on earth (or on another planet) living as a human can be very scary. Whereas when you die you don't have to worry very much about karma both good and bad.
So, to me, I find life much scarier than death because I'm always concerned about not only what happens to me but what happens to everyone I come into contact with or near. So, I try to have the best possible influence on every level for every life I touch in any way. So, I try to be kind and polite to all beings whenever possible so I can have the best influence on their lives as a direct result.
However, death is just sort of like going to sleep at night. Often in the past I have asked God to take my life when I was sick and I thought I was going to die at night when I went to sleep. However, every morning after doing this God has returned me once again to life reborn in consciousness and often in physical ways too.
So, I equate sleep to death and wakefulness to life and in this way I die daily to God and I am also reborn daily to life. Being reborn every day anew I find incredibly useful because I am reborn with new awareness and wisdom every single day.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
