World War 3? Nuclear Russia on inevitable war, Putin calls US late on terrorism
Is
World War 3 truly something the US should be preparing for this 2014?

I think Putin is trying to influence U.S. elections in trying to blame the U.S. for everything wrong with the world.
It is sort of like "The pot calling the kettle black". Russia through Putin may see the U.S. as responsible for everything including the fall of the Soviet Union. And it's true the U.S. is not perfect, but then again neither is China or Russia in the ways they deal with the world. All large nations like the U.S., China, Russia and the European Union have far reaching affects on the world like huge elephants sleeping with mice. Sometimes the mice (smaller nations) get rolled over on by the elephants and those mice suffer and sometimes die even though the elephants might not be trying to kill them at all.
So, to me, Putin is a lot like when women blame men for everything down through human history. This just isn't true. The world in the end is a very difficult place to survive in for anyone and blaming the U.S. for all the world's problems is just to be unrealistic.
All large and small countries have good and bad qualities and the biggest problem the world presently faces is overpopulation. Until that is addressed either directly or indirectly no other problems can really be solved in any permanent way.
