Analyzing problems and creating solutions

I have been sort of depressed by the news lately partly because my wife and I are dealing with the "Empty Nest" Syndrome with our youngest away at college now and all our kids over 400 miles to 1000s of miles away now. So, we are finding this difficult, especially because my wife's recovery from her knee replacement surgery is taking longer than we thought too because she is still using a cane and needing a wheelchair at the airport because she cannot walk down the ramp and into the plane without being very scared and going very slow. So, in order to do this we have to get a wheelchair from the curb so this works for the airport and the airline. So, I guess we meet a whole lot of new people this way.

But, it is sort of depressing too.

So, I find it harder to blog about the problems of the world now in addition to this in my life. However, what I was thinking was rather than just:

DEFINING PROBLEMS (for you to solve)

I need to more:

OFFER SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS AS WELL

Which is harder but then again I am a very creative person when I really want to be.

And I do have the time now in my life to get very creative.

So, I'm going to try to not just define problems that need solutions.

I'm also going to try whenever I can to offer solutions more to these problems as well.

This way blogging about problems when I define them for you will seem much less depressing
if I also try to think of potential solutions to these problems as well.

Simply defining problems can make a person very cynical, and unless you are 18 to 25 being cynical isn't very useful because in reality it is only a way to protect yourself from disappointment which can be very useful to someone 18 to 25 and not having learned yet to not have unrealistic expectations about one's life yet.

Some of the most amazing things in life and adventures (if you can survive them) happen between 18 and 25 partly because of this. So kids, have an amazing life but try to survive to 25 or 30 too so you can live a long happy and healthy life as well.
