I was channel surfing Christmas Day afternoon and found this little jewel of a movie made a year before I was born in 1947 which is the year of the Roswell event in New Mexico. So, I thought I would share this with you.
This is a best picture nominee that year starring Cary Grant, David Niven, and Loretta Young. I grew up during the 1950s watching many movies with Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young starring in them. This one is about a clergyman whose prayers for divine guidance are answered in the form of a personable guardian angel who attempts to solve all his social and domestic problems. It's a treat if you like this type of Christmas Movie.
However, if you don't like Black and White movies this isn't your style.
Also, in 1996 this movie was remade starring Denzel Washington.
