It's 1270 and the time of Kublai Khan (September 23, 1215 – February 18, 1294) and Marco Polo and his father and possibly his uncle are there too. The father gives Marco Polo as a servant to Kublai Khan to grease the wheels of his merchant business in China and Mongolia which Kublai Khan rules over then. Kublai Khan's grandfather was Genghis Khan by the way.
