My Experience with Tibetan Rinpoches

My experience of "Rinpoches" in real life is that their presence tends to alter time and space. I studied with a Geshe which means "Spiritual Friend" but that isn't what a Rinpoche is. I would equate a Geshe to a Doctor of Divinity that you cannot get unless you study constantly from age 6 to about 40 to become a Geshe.

Whereas a Rinpoche is a conscious reincarnation sort of like the Dalai Lama. Rinpoches are chosen by finding the person they were before's items like prayer beads  (Mala), and Dorje, Bell and things like Thigh bone trumpets or Tea cups with covers and things like that. So, as a 4 to 6 year old they have to choose the right ones out of stuff that is maybe 1 thing out of 5 or more that is there in a group of things.

They find a child that they were directed to by what the last Rinpoche said when they were passing on about where and when they would reincarnate. So, they start with that and then people who knew the last Rinpoche visit the child to see if it vibes the same as the previous incarnation or has similar tendencies. Then when the child is old enough to speak and choose they ask the child to choose their things of their previous incarnation. When they do successfully in a sort of semi public way with Lamas who knew that being all around, often that child is raised as a Rinpoche or "conscious Living Buddha" who consciously reincarnates.

Like I said when I have been around "Rinpoches" they tend to alter time and space and spin the wheel of the dharma so if you are dedicated to helping all beings be free from suffering they will do things to lengthen people's lives like that who are working to help mankind because relatively speaking karmically there are very few beings really capable of doing this well or that have good enough karma to be good at helping others in a compassionate right mindful way.

However, if you are demonstrating to them through what they see in your aura and how you behave, often they will alter your karma so you can continue to help and also have a longer lifetime.

So, it is sort of up to you to dedicate yourself to a lifetime of compassion towards yourself and all beings in the universe if you are interested in all this. It is through your diligent work that will be obvious to them when they meet you that they will try to help you.

If you want to watch a movie about this a good one likely would be "Little Buddha"
