I remember seeing this in the movie theater when it first came out. I found it more entertaining now because of seeing "Into the Forest" with Meryl Streep in that one too recently.
In this movie Meryl Streep plays a Jewish Psychologist who is treating 37 year old Uma Thurman who is getting a divorce from her husband. Uma meets (accidentally) Meryl Streep's 23 year old son and they start dating. Meryl doesn't know what to do ethically as her son's mother and as a psychologist and so visits another therapist for counseling. And on the story goes. Uma doesn't know she is dating her psychologist's son either and Meryl's son doesn't know Uma is being treated by his mother either.
This is pretty funny from a lot of different angles and a generally interesting movie on multiple fronts if you like philosophical and psychologically interesting movies like this one.
