Fear and Overreaction is the real purpose of ISIS Terrorism

The Irgun was a group of 1500 Jewish Militants in Palestine. They knew they could not defeat the British Army, so they blew up buildings. "They knew this would lead the British to overreact by garrisoning the country--" -David Fromkin

which strained British coffers and eventually London would have to leave Palestine which actually happened. So, the Irgun was succesful in it's strategy.

"---the Irgun, seeing that it was too small to defeat Great Britain, decided, as an alternative approach,  that Britain was big enough to defeat itself." -David Fromkin.

ISIS' strategy is surely some version of this.

This all above is a direct quote from Fareed Zacharia GPS from CNN Sunday Morning February 8th 2015.

It is possible that Jordan now could become a victim of this same strategy if it spends too much money on this war against ISIS.

This last statement is my own thinking. However, it also applies to NATO and the U.S. and even Russia as well in various different locations on earth.

The beheadings, molestation and impregnation of women married to other men who they have beheaded, the burning alive of the Jordanian pilot are all manifestations of ISIS' hopes to draw the U.S. ,NATO and larger nations into an endless war with ISIS while losing many men on the ground and the world watching while prisoners are tortured or burned alive or beheaded on Youtube forever.
This ground battle with never ending battles fought guerrilla style is exactly what ISIS wants with who ever is stupid enough to send in ground troops.

This is exactly why ISIS leaders will likely be targeted one by one with drones and hellfire missiles until there are no ISIS leaders left at all. And this is why no sane country is going to send in ground troops especially not the U.S. or NATO countries.
