ISIS cafe attackers killed everyone but Muslims

As ISIS is defeated on the Battlefield I think you are going to have more and more of these kinds of attacks around the world. Many factors contribute to this. ISIS soldiers returning home from Syria and Iraq rather than dying on the battlefield there, and ISIS being the richest terrorist organization in the history of the world and many other factors. This is going to terrorize the world much more than the Islamic State did. However, at least ISIS is not longer a country holding hostage for ransom millions and millions of people like now.

Bangladesh Café Attackers Spared Muslim Hostages
NY Daily News
The ISIS terrorists who slaughtered 20 foreign hostages inside a Bangladeshi café spared those who could recite passages from the Koran — and the gunmen even made sure their pious prisoners were well fed during the tense, 10-hour standoff.
A survivor’s father said the shooters gave food to the Muslim captives after they barricaded themselves inside the Holey Artisan Bakery, a café popular with diplomats and expats in the capital city of Dhaka.
“The gunmen asked everyone inside to recite from the Koran. Those who recited were spared. The gunmen even gave them meals last night,” said Rezaul Karim, whose Bangladeshi son was rescued from the besieged restaurant. “The others were tortured.”

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the massacre and said its fighters targeted foreigners.

Italian citizens are among the victims, Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi (l.) said, while Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said one Japanese hostage was hospitalized.

The attackers stormed the shop late Friday night shouting “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is Great” in Arabic. They ignored police’s attempts at negotiations and opened fire on the cops who had surrounded the restaurant, killing two officers.
Paramilitary troops eventually raided the café early Saturday morning, about 10 hours into the standoff, and killed six of the gunmen. A seventh was captured alive.

The team rescued 13 of the hostages. Twenty others — all foreigners — had already been killed by the terrorists, officials said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina condemned the attack in a nationally televised speech following the standoff.

“Anyone who believes in religion cannot do such act,” Hasina said. “They do not have any religion, their only religion is terrorism.”
Victims included Italian and Indian citizens. One Japanese hostage has been hospitalized, and the fate of seven others is unknown, Japanese officials said.

Police said the two officers died at a hospital after being wounded in the initial gunfire. Ten of 26 people who were wounded when the militants opened fire are in critical condition, and six were on life support, according to hospital staff. The injuries ranged from broken bones to gunshot wounds. Only one civilian was among the wounded.
The attack marks an escalation in militant violence that has hit the traditionally moderate Muslim-majority nation with increasing frequency in recent months. Previous attacks involved machete-wielding men singling out individual activists, foreigners and religious minorities.
About two dozen atheist writers, publishers, members of religious minorities, social activists and foreign aid workers have been slain since 2013. On Friday, a Hindu temple worker was hacked to death by at least three assailants in southwest Bangladesh. IS and and Al Qaeda affiliates have claimed responsibility for many of the attacks.
