I agree with this at this point. If something as bad as Dallas or "God Help us!" worse than Dallas occurs there from armed demonstrators of either side we might go back to the Riots of 1965 to 1966 once again.
Let me share with you my memories of the Watts riots in Los Angeles in 1965
I was 17 years old and lived in Glendale where no black people lived at all but a few Hispanic people did at the time.
Remember, I'm 16 years old and a student at Glendale High School there in Glendale.
What I want to impress upon you was what scared me the most as a white 17 year old boy in Glendale.
I was scared to death of the white people in the hills around there at night after work practicing with their hunting rifles preparing to shoot and kill any black people that came to Glendale then.

The smoke coming up 10 or 20 miles away as Watts burned to the ground as a city was bad enough but white people practicing with their rifles on targets in the hills around Glendale preparing to shoot any black people that came to Glendale scared me more than any other thing then.
IF you don't want this kind of thing again across our nation I think you should think about everything you say from now on in the context of not having whole cities burn down like Watts did then.
