Yes. We see you dying one by one from Assad's barrel bombs and Russian Cluster bombs, both of which we thought were illegal according to all conventions of warfare. But, still you die every day from bombs and starvation while the whole world watches.
Assad started 6 years ago by torturing 15 year old children peacefully demonstrating for rights and this only adds 1 million insults to the ongoing injuries of human rights we have witnessed over these horrific years.
Why have we done nothing?
Because the world is more afraid of a nuclear war with Russia than they are of watching you die one by one from Barrel Bombs and cluster bombs.
It reminds me of the 1930s as Hitler harmed one nation after another then.
So, there is a historical context to all this like another World War II beginning as well.
But, is what is happening to you horrific that never seems to end?
Yes.
But, is the world going to step up to help you?
Likely No.
Because this is the beginning of a huge war that likely never will end for 20 to 30 years that will encompass the entire middle east and possibly Europe, Russia and the rest of the world as well.
This is just the beginning. And watching you die 1.6 billion Sunnis are watching their Slow motion Pearl Harbor like it was for the whole U.S. way back when.
This isn't the end of carnage. All your deaths are only the beginning of recriminations and vendettas that will span the Middle East and likely move through Europe, Iran and Russia as well into the future.
Will any good come from Aleppo and all your deaths?
I don't know.
But, if I study history this looks like another World War II beginning.
The world is sorry but this is the best they can do for now.
No one has the stomach for another World War but this is likely what is coming.
