Castro STreet in San Francisco

I realized it was going to get strange here in the U.S. last night. I hadn't seen this many demonstrators in any place in person since the Viet Nam War. I guess finally something people are as upset with as the Viet Nam War: Trump.

I sat in Slurp Restaurant where they serve great thai noodles and thai iced tea and stuff and could not believe last night watching 1/2 hour of people going down Castro street fully across the whole street there were so many people chanting and holding lit candles in this demonstration and vigil. The people in front were saying "Fight Back! Fight Back! Fight Back!" which seemed sort of like what anarchists might say who tend to move towards more violent thoughts. But, further back there were constant chants of "Hey Hey Ho Ho Donald Trump has Got to Go!" over and over again. I could not believe how many people were demonstrating. It was mind boggling. But now, it is happening in at least 25 cities nationwide tonight again which is even more mind boggling and reminds me of Anti-Viet Nam war marches in their intensity and ferocity and determination. I don't think this is going to end anytime soon. You are likely going to see this at the very least on college campuses across the U.S. for some time.

The most important word regarding all this: "Ominous"

The people who voted for Hillary (the Majority) are not going to accept Trump as their president. This appears to be the case. They might have accepted Romney or McCaine and somewhat supported Bush II but they are not going to accept Trump as their president and we may be seeing the kind of Social Revolution we saw during the Viet Nam war this time directed against Trump and his government from now on.

This much dissension likely will lead to some anarchy in our nation. I fear for our democracy now in earnest.
