My Thought is: "The Cold War never really ended"

Why?

Because if you actually notice when the iron curtain fell it only fell for Europe and Russia. The problems generated since 1917 and before weren't really solved by the bringing down of the Iron Curtain they just went underground.

And China did what it always has done it has been pragmatic. What is pragmatic for them is not what makes sense to Americans or even really to Russians, (even though Russians likely get the Chinese more than Americans do) having lived alongside them now for thousands of years already.

What you actually have in China is a land that never could be governed if you actually had human rights because it isn't going to work that way. For example, you have 250 million people right now with Tuberculosis and then you also have 300 million people with a lifestyle similar to Europeans and Americans and Canadians.

This does not make sense to Europeans, Americans or Canadians unless they have lived in China or visited there for over a month or more and studied this.

The problem the U.S. and Europe have with China is not Communism it is with ethnocentrism of a 6000 year old culture or more.

And the problem the U.S. and Europe have with Russia is similar to the problem we have with China, except they speak Russian and are Christian at this point too like America is.

But, we still are 3 different cultures completely, the more similar one is Russia to Europe and the U.S.

But, it is just so different in fundamental ways that we make really crazy suppositions about them from the U.S. especially that make no sense at all unless people have lived there. And most people who have lived in Russia don't run the U.S. government do they?

Unless you consider Trump to be Putin's Puppet or that Trump is being blackmailed by Putin (Both of which I presently believe to be true) from all the evidence presented so far.

I will be very surprised if something else has been going on since 2015 with Trump. Unless you consider the possiblity that Trump has always been crazy and dysfunctional. (after all he has been lying to his base all along) However, Trump's base has gotten used to being lied to since the times of Nixon and Reagon too.

So, Trump's lies aren't as big of a surprise as you might think to them. He was just their last hope.

Remember, I grew up a Conservative Republican because that's what my father and Grandfather were on my Dad's side. However, in College I saw the good and bad things about being conservative or liberal and understood there is no one side that will keep America from harm.

Only the two party system itself keeps our nation functioning as a Democracy in a Republic. Democracy if very very messy after all.

However, our problem is Russia and China and the nuclear weapons of Russia, China and the U.S.

This is the real problem we deal with nationwide. And if this problem is not solved soon we all will be dead.

How can it be solved?

In the 1950s or even 1960s if we weren't going to die in a nuclear holocaust I would have said "No. There is no way for us not to die from nukes. But then, peace talks and Detente and the falling of hte Iron curtain changed all this.

So, if you ask me now if we will solve the problem of North Korean Nukes and Chinese nukes and Russian nukes and everyone else's nukes I would say,

"We really have no choice but to solve this problem or we all die in a nuclear winter as bad as the one that killed ALL the biggest dinosaurs when an asteroid  struck earth in the Gulf of Mexico."

They all slowly or quickly died with in 1 to 3 years from the asteroid strike which made it so cold and nothing could grow that they died from clouds and cold and no sun.

So, this kind of shows us what we are actually up against doesn't it? So, we need to create a solution other than nukes flying all over the place, don't we?

Once again, necessity is the mother of invention.

Otherwise, we are all dead.

So, will there be a solution?

There will be or all of us are dead! All Russians, All Americans and All Chinese and everything else and all animals and birds and fish  and plants and trees will be dead!
