Saying that the politics of Eternity are "Doom" connotes a person thinking that everyone dies and so there is no hope.
So, from this premise, which Putin likely lives in, there is only History, so the only way he will be remembered is to become a King, Emperor or tyrant and he has this in common with Trump because both act like they believe in nothing in the end.
So, I think that what Putin and Trump have in common is both of them believe in nothing so people don't matter, who dies at whatever age doesn't matter, only their wishes in the here and now as emperors matter.
This is pretty obvious regarding both Putin and Trump and is what they both have in common.
So, in this same context, to them, human beings have no natural rights, no right to be alive, no right to be happy, only the right to die at the hands of Putin and Trump and that's all.
The politics of inevitability are also flawed because they leave out the lessons of history.
Just because things are okay now doesn't mean that they will stay okay without a lot of work and suffering.
And those who forget the lessons of history are almost always dead before their times.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
