However, consider this: Nixon was spiraling out of control like Trump now is, during the Cold War and we survived this too. It's true that Trump is having many many problems (mostly with himself and his staff) and in running the government (AT ALL) but then you have Sessions and Rosenstein and Mueller acting as counterpoint to Trump's Craziness as Servants of the Constitution.
So, on one level people are starting to step up and fill in the Gaps as Trump spirals into "nothingness"?
The one thing you have to know about Trump is he's a fighter. He's a very very unorthodox fighter but still he is a fighter and doesn't telegraph his moves.
One reason Trump has always thrived on Chaos is he is kind of like a magician, while his left hand is showing you something reality show style, his right hand is secretly doing something else.
If we have learned anything from Trump it is the fact that absolutely "NOTHING" is what it appears to be at first and that he changes everything depending upon the day of the week to "Whoever spoke to him last!" which is also why everyone in the country of every party needs to be a little scared and a little vigilant in keeping our democracy intact right now no matter whether you are Republican, Democrat or Independent.
If you love this country you need to find a way to protect what you love about this country because otherwise what you love about it will be gone next year or in a few years the way things are presently going.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
