What I mean by this is he is so terrified of losing his base that he is doing things he ordinarily wouldn't do. I'm not sure if he is more afraid of Putin or his dwindling base at this point. But, he is no longer making any decisions on his own. Unless it panders to his base (about 30% of the people) he won't do anything at all which puts our country in danger in a variety of ways because there can be no useful compromise with a terrified president like this.
I think at this point he is so selfish that he would rather see our government completely collapse into ruin than not listen to his 30% base which could be the end of our country the way things are going now.
Democrats have no reason at all to give into this terrible tantruming child of a person but this also is dangerous for our country as well. So, even though in principle Democrats are right in this, this also plays into Putin's Machievellian scenario thought up by KGB think tanks long ago.
The Never had a terrified Trump to destroy the world economy through before.
