I left the Republican party over Nixon's paranoia and lawlessness in the 1970s when I was young never to return. Hillary Clinton who is presently the same age as me (71) also did this in the 1970s. It is inevitable now that thousands to millions of Young Republicans will do the same because of Trump's Nazi type of racism here in the U.S.
It's simply a matter of principle and living with yourself long term and nothing else. Without integrity we all perish.
