This movie is sort of where the human race in general is right now in regard to aliens. However, in 1977 this is where governments on earth were in regard to aliens. So, there is a great great distance between what our governments and militaries are actually aware of and what the common man is aware of.
This is the Great paradox, the Great Dichotomy and in some ways the Great Sin against mankind that this is so.
Although this information would have collapsed all governments and religions and most businesses if it all came out at once in one day, it is also true that the vast majority of mankind are living a lie that is unacceptable for them to bear even one more day.
So, it is my hope that mankind are able to cope with the truth as it begins to come out now more and more every day and every year from now on.
