The Reason the DOJ is telling the president not to delete foreign leader call notes is that if these notes were deleted it would definitely be Obstruction of justice but beyond that the President and anyone involved in this likely would be going to jail for treason at that point. So, Barr telling the president not to delete these notes is very important to many people's lives in keeping them out of jail or worse for treason.
Why would it be treason? Because these are the records of promises and requests regarding foreign dignitary leaders which are the essence of the U.S. national Security survival or should be.
