What do I mean by this?
The singularity that I can point to that changed things on earth profoundly in regard to information (who has it and who can get it) is the smartphone more than any other single device.
This statement has never ceased to amaze me: "any child in Africa with a smartphone who knows how to use it in any language has more potential access to information now than President Bill Clinton had as President of the United States.
So, the biggest singularity still progressing is in the minds of the children of earth ongoing from the invention of the smartphone by Steve Jobs in the form of the Iphone when it was invented on June 29, 2007.
so, if you want to search for an actual singularity you can trace back to the invention of the smartphone and what it has done to life on earth since 2007 and forward ongoing to 2100 and 2200 and beyond.
This is the easiest recognizable singularity for me in regard to life on earth.
