I cannot fully explain this to you because I didn't engineer and design auto-encoders in the first place.
But, I can imagine how it was designed because I worked as a computer programmer back in the late 1960s and early 1970s on Fortran and Cobol. Both of these languages are still used by the way simply because they tend to be much faster than newer languages because they tend to be more simplistic and less encumbered than present day languages which slow them down a lot. So, for many applications it is still much faster to do them in either COBOL or FORTRAN depending upon what you are trying to do.
So, the way I would imagine it working is that for example, if you start writing letters in text like we have here into a web page format designed for blogging like here there would be certain protocols that would be universal to this format and so it could be like boilerplate except for the style of the page which you would either provide or your provider like blogspot (blogger.com) might provide or you could get your template from another source as long as it is compatible with a free blogging site like Blogspot (blogger.com).
Then if you were going to have picture you would design another application that would be helpful loading pictures or videos to your site so when you clicked the picture button to create a picture or video at your blog site it would be more intuitive. This way you wouldn't have to learn HTML or Java or other web languages but only learn the protocols of your specific Auto-encoder system.
So, much of HTML is boilerplate in that there are certain things required for any web page to exist. Then there would be other applications when you clicked pictures in your auto-encoder and another boilerplate for Links. That much is easy to understand.
However, when you start quoting from other sites it can become very problematic for a variety of reasons. First you have to list where it is from with at the very least a link (word button) or URL and then sometimes (depending upon where you are quoting from it doesn't work when you run it through an auto-encoder so you might either have to either give up and delete it or write it in HTML yourself or modify what you are loading in some way, shape or form.
Also, if you are going to quote other sites very much it might be better if you are a completely non-profit site like this one where the blog site is free and I don't ever advertise (unless I cannot scrub the advertisements from what I quote) which is more and more common. I find sometimes when you scrub certain advertisements from things I quote the whole thing disappears from my site. So, if I want to share some important things with all of you I cannot without leaving some advertisements embedded in the software when I quote them. So, if it's important enough if I cannot scrub the adds I leave them in so you can get important information sometimes.
NOTE: If you are not already a programmer the last two paragraphs might have been confusing. Because I switched from explaining auto-encoders to what it is like using an auto-encoder while blogging here specifically at this site or others. So, the paragraphs above starting with "However," and "Also" which are the last two paragraphs above I changed from how Auto-encoders work to how I specifically use Auto-encoders and what works and what doesn't here at this site for me while programming using an Auto-encoder resident here at blogger.com for bloggers who want to use them. HTML is also available for people wanting to compose directly in HTML as well. When you as a blogger go into blog and create an article to the left you have two buttons, the left one says "compose" which is the auto-encoder. Then the right button is HTML where you have to know HTML to compose your site. You can use either one if you know what you are doing.
So, if you click on "compose" you are in auto-encoder mode.
IF you click "HTML" then you can compose everything directly in HTML.
But, you have to know the protocols of each in order to use either.
IF you have never written code before "Compose" is much much easier to master than "HTML"
I would say it is at least 100 times easier than learning HTML.
Further note:
For example, if all you are doing is writing in words it is very very easy. All you have to do is to write those words and then click "Publish". But, in addition you need to put a title up at the top and then you also go to the right and then click "Labels". What I do is put the same title at the top and put the same title at "labels". I do it this way to avoid my own confusion as well as any confusion of readers worldwide because the title is going to be a link or word button at your page and your label will go out on the internet designating your article alphabetically when you look it up on google. However, when you try to find your article at Google anything with a similar title will also be there according to the date it was published so you might have 1 million other articles before yours organized by date worldwide with the same or a similar label as yours.
So, there will be a link at your site by date and there will be a link at Google and all other search engines likely too. However, for sure there will be a link at Google because blogspot (blogger.com) here goes anywhere on earth that Google Goes too. So, it is important to realize your blog will go likely to 100 or more nations all over the earth. I get readers from all over Europe, Russia sometimes, China sometimes and places like Australia, India, New Zealand and places on earth where any people read English, Also Canada etc.
Because, if you have a blog at blogger.com (Blogspot) you have to be somewhat protective of yourself and your family because your blog goes not only to the U.S. but all over the world. So, whenever I write something I try to think about protecting myself and my family while still sharing what I think is important for people to know about worldwide so they can survive and protect their families from harm.
My Specific point of view is about preventing human extinction and the extinction of all life on earth.
So, I'm writing so at least some humans are still alive in 2100. This is what I'm trying to accomplish here. But, As an intuitive I know the likelihood is only 1 billion people or less will be alive still in 2100 and it is very debatable whether anyone will still be alive in 2200 (at least above ground) because of winds of 300 mph being common sometimes many places on earth. So, any people living in 2200 mostly will be living underground and coming up only when they can survive being on the surface of the earth when the winds aren't too strong to not be blown away.
Why?
Because Global Warming will double and triple the wind speeds because that is what happens (at least until the Global Warming turns into an ice age which is what happens usually after Global Warming gets really bad.
Or it could just turn the Earth into something like Venus and Mars the way they are now instead.
But, remember there is always terraforming and weather alterations that could be applied to make earth more habitable too if people get on top of it soon enough.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
