1,043 deaths in U.S. by 1pm PDT April 4th 2020 Saturday just today since Midnight Eastern time

The death toll has already risen above 8000 total so far today as well  with 302,031 cases of positive tests for coronavirus so far and 14,505 have recovered here as well.

Though there are 12,681 cases in California where I live, San Francisco and then all of California sheltered in place the first of the states so not as many are dying here as other places in the U.S. because of this.

We have presently a total of 285 deaths right now compared to New York STate's 3,565 deaths so far. So, relatively speaking as the most populous state in the U.S. we are doing very well. Of course it is also true that we are the 5th largest economy on earth as well. So, it's true this is a very rich state also.
