1059 deaths so far in the U.S. today since Midnight on April 5th 2020 Sunday

9513 total deaths so far in U.S. More people are dying per day right now in U.S.  than in any other country. However, the top 5 in deaths are the U.S. first, then Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

We have 333, 021 cases so far in the U.S.
Spain 130,854 cases so far and 12,518 deaths of which 571 died just today.
Italy 128,948 cases so far and 15,887 deaths of which 525 were just today.
Germany has 100,024 cases with 1576 deaths of which 132 were just today.
France which has 92,839 cases with 8,078 deaths  with 518 deaths just today.

These statistics are from Newsday App on my Iphone regarding coronavirus statistics worldwide.

Other countries and states not hit yet might be at any time in the near or far future. Each place locally has it's own time relationship with the virus different than all other places and states and countries.

The top 12 U.S. states with cases right now per 100,000 people:
New York
New Jersey
Louisiana
Massachussetts
Connecticut
Michigan
DC
Washington
Pennsylvania
Illinois
Colorado
Vermont

Because of it's really large population of 40 million people California isn't even on this list which is interesting in itself. Because we have a very low rate per 100,000 Californians mostly because we were the first state to shut down completely.

It's possible we might be one of the really big Business and university engines to restore the U.S. economy because we likely will recover first (at least after this first  wave).

What the 2nd wave will bring is a completely different story for all of us.

The statistics regarding the top 12 states by cases of coronavirus are from CNN from Dr. Birx during presidential new conference Sunday April 5th 2020.
