It's a little scary at times and difficult to watch also at times but I can see why people are watching it. The main character's mother is dying and he is trying to keep her alive anyway he can. So, this part of the story reminds me of people trying to keep their mother's alive with coronavirus. Some people have supernatural gifts on the timeline of this movie and they use these gifts sometimes in illegal ways to survive.
In some ways this is a movie that touches people deeply during these coronavirus times which is likely why people are watching it. Also, for an Indie film it is very well put together.
It's disturbing but also interesting as a movie.
