Did it start when some Chinese guy actually screwed up and was working on some virus in a Chinese Lab and accidentally pin pricked himself and didn't tell anyone as he walked out of the lab?
Did it start when some Chinese Farmer walked into a cave to get Bat Guano to put on his fields because it is very rich for growing things?
Did it start when someone ate a pangolin?
Did is start because a Super ecologist wanted people to stop flying planes or driving cars?
Or is there some other reasonable or unreasonable explanation that makes any sense at all?
Or will we never know for hundreds or thousands of reasons?
