More regarding the Huge Oak Tree

I called and told my wife about the broken drain pipe and my daughter and husband having to wash dishes outside so water didn't come through the wall from a broken drain pipe into a part of the kitchen and we got a plumber to come here this morning to stick a camera down a snake to see where the break was and to fix it. So, this happened this morning even before I woke up and was paid for already which is good. So now, my daughter and her husband don't have to wash dishes outside so the water doesn't leak into a part of the kitchen anymore. It was kind of like camping out dishes wise last night before we got this fixed finally. So, that is a relief for both my wife and I as well as my daughter and her husband. They usually live in Europe but got caught here in the U.S. when their flight was cancelled and so it became necessary for them to stay here in California. Luckily, we have a family home here in Santa Barbara so they had a good place to stay where the weather is nice all year round.

I was thinking about this actually. Santa Barbara is so far north away from Los Angeles that you don't get the LA smog really but it still has really nice weather like San Diego and Los Angeles do. Plus you are on the ocean where you don't usually get weather much above 100 degrees. And even though it is on the ocean the air is usually pretty dry here so it is almost never a humid heat at 100 degrees Fahrenheit that can sometimes kill people. So, you don't have snow here ever and the weather is pretty mild year around. The biggest drawback here is likely water for drinking and bathing if there is a drought they had to create a desalinization plant here years ago for whenever there is a drought. But, it's here when people need it now I guess. But, amazing place to live year around with great weather.
