In some ways I think they both are right. Will opening things kill some people? Of course.
Will keeping things closed cause some to starve to death? Of course.
It's a balance and the whole world is in this position now of sort of:
"Damned if they do and damned if they don't"
But, in the end it is likely that Sweden Got it right to begin with.
They didn't shut anything down but their universities and in the end that might be the best outcome long term.
Why?
Because here's the thing. Within 5 years EVERYONE on earth will either be dead from coronavirus or have a vaccine from coronavirus or be immune to coronavirus.
There are no more options than that for almot 8 billion humans on earth.
People cannot just stay in their homes the rest of their lives. 90% of the people can't at least.
So, this is the problem. Stay closed too long and people starve to death or open too quick and too many die of coronavirus.
There is no one right and perfect decision in any of this.
The whole world has to bite the bullet on this one!
IT's the worst thing worldwide in my lifetime and I remember 1950.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
