My present theory is that through our dreams (nighttime dreams) but also day dreams are the way our souls connect to our bodies and to the earth itself. My present theory is that souls are a type of beings that create galaxies like humans create farms here on earth. These Galaxy creators are what our souls actually are. You might also say we are the stuff that stars in the sky are made of as well.
Why do we choose to live in human bodies on earth? I think the best explanation would be the same answer to why we watch movies on TV: It entertains us and helps keep us alive when our souls are very old and already have lived billions and billions of years. So, taking incarnation likely is an alternative to dying of boredom for a very very old old soul like all of us are.
But, the very concept to time has no meaning to a soul really at all. Since for a soul there really is no beginning or end to anything, time was only created when our galaxy was created and when our galaxy is no more time (that goes along with a material galaxy) will be no more as well. Souls like ours do not reside naturally in time and space but come from unknown matter which composes 96% of the known universe.
So, our souls create galaxies to better feed on the conversions of matter changing forms to anti-matter and other conversions. So in this way a galaxy is like a farm only farming energy conversions for our souls to feed on. That's really what all galaxies actually are built for.
