Because Trump's executive Orders are meaningless, unenforceable and unconstitutional and the owners of Supermarkets across the whole nation realize this.
So, they are expecting at least 50% of their customers to be going to Food Banks and Soup Kitchens because of the complete mess that Trump has made of things.
Supermarkets are preparing for the inevitable, a 50% drop in sales because 1/2 of their customers will be homeless and only able to eat in soup kitchens for free soon and get food from food banks.
So, if you want people to stay alive and not die and you have money to donate still please donate to Food Banks and soup kitchens in your locality where you live so people don't feel they have to resort to crime to survive to eat because the Republican Government has completely failed them.
