I tried watching "The Truth Seekers" from England but it was too creepy for me.The funny didn't balance out the horror

I had the same experience when I tried to watch the 2nd season of "Stranger Things". I got through the first season okay but the 2nd season was just too scary, creepy and nightmare inducing so I had to give it up. The Truth Seekers isn't funny enough (for my humor) at least to be able to watch more than the first episode. I think when the old lady possessed by her 1965 Dog runs like a dog up the stairs to her father's ghost that was all I wanted to watch of this series even if it might have been CGI. Some might consider this really funny. To me, it was interesting but sort of too horror inducing with no useful purpose in sight other than to scare people. This doesn't work for me. Too scary without enough humor to make it entertaining for my time.

I expected something like:Abbott and Costello but this wasn't it.
