My friend said they have 3 or 4 inches there in Mt. Shasta but it is already melting out of the trees. So, it likely won't last long so be careful of black ice going up Interstate 5 today and tonight and look at your temperature gauge for outside always to see if it's safe to drive. It's really beautiful especially during the first snow falls in town there. I'm sort of sad I'm not there to see it. But, my wife's back is having difficulty so I can't leave here here when it's like this. But, it's true it's not time for skiing now yet anyway. I didn't really get to ski last year at all because the weather didn't accommodate me there at my age. Because I'm now 72 I don't ski except in perfect snow and weather conditions because I'm much more into safety now than when I was younger because I like staying alive and healthy for as long as possible. My son-in law's grandfather in Austria still competes as a downhill skier at age 75 but that's a very different culture than this one. Besides I'm not really competitive I just like to be out in nature with God a lot. It gives me a lot of peace in my life and tends to extend my life further and further into the future.
By God's Grace
