If you haven't gotten your live Christmas Tree yet it's going to be expensive

People who got their LIVE Christmas Trees around Thanksgiving are likely seeing their trees starting to dry out about now if they haven't been watering them with one of those specialized watering troughs that you can buy with a metal rod that goes up into the tree base to hold it in place.

However, we were going to wait until my Daughter and her husband drove up from Santa Barbara now that they have been tested for Covid before they came. The either have the results or likely will by Monday before they drive up.

However, since they told us that they have bought a Christmas Tree and we had been waiting for them to come to get ours with them we realized today we should get one before they were gone. However, where we have gotten our Christmas Trees every year near the Fairgrounds was sold out and closed up much to our surprise. Then we drove to the nearest city and no trees there either we found out because of Covid awareness and too many people milling around. So, we had to drive way out remote into a Valley inland before we could find any good Christmas Trees to buy for Christmas!

Even then I couldn't believe the prices that they were which was about 100 dollars for a 6 foot tree and 150 for a 7 foot tree. We saw a nice 6 foot tree but upon closer inspection there were many half broken branches on one side of the tree that you couldn't see at first (and this one was 100 dollars!).

Then I spied a 7 footer that I felt would be great for our large living room near my Grand Piano that my wife gave me for Christmas about 20 years ago now since I have played the piano since I was 8 and took piano lessons from age 8 to age 16 once every week!

So, they netted the tree for us and I put it in the back of my Fold Top back of my 4 wheel drive Tundra Truck and we drove it home. But, we decided to go to a nearby beach since we were so very far from home anyway and walk our Blue Merle Corgi Dog that just turned about 1 years old recently. There was a couple taking wedding photos and the lady had one of the most beautiful blue dresses with white designs on it that I have ever seen in my life so that was a real treat because the couple both were really beautiful together. Sorry everything got so intertwined when I loaded the software. Not really sure how to straighten it out using an automatic encoder for HTML. Hope you can use all the links if you need or want to.

Yosemite Valley Chapel

Chapel in the Yosemite Valley, California

Description

The Yosemite Valley Chapel was built in the Yosemite Valley of California in 1879. Wikipedia
Address9000 Southside Dr, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389

It made my wife and I think about us getting married about 25 years ago this December in Yosemite national Park at the Chapel there and having our reception at the Awahnee which is now renamed the Majestic Hotel.

I just checked I guess it has now gone back to being Called the Awahnee once Again!

Both President Kennedy and the Queen of England have all stayed there and famous people from all over the world over the years. It has that 1930s.

It was built I guess in 1927 and it is really a wonderful place to stay, the best inside the park to stay if you can afford it because it isn't cheap to stay there.
