The last time we went through anything like this obviously was World War II and most of you weren't alive to see that and neither was I. I just saw all the really crazy people after that was over and wondered why they weren't very nice or they were too nice in sort of a crazy way, especially the women who had survived World War II.
So, it's time to start the healing process because the worst likely will be over within a couple of months (at least regarding the virus itself. Any economic damage it has done will take years to fully recover from, especially when you think about all the things like Cruise ships being cut up for scrap and things like this worldwide and likely places you liked to visit around the world traveling now likely out of business all over the place too.
So, traveling likely will be very different and possibly more expensive than before because of all the losses to all traveling businesses worldwide in the future just trying to stay in business at all.
Preparing for a new and different future might be something you want to write about too. Or thinking about what kind of business or businesses you want to try to start in the new economy that is forming even as I write this worldwide.
Thinking about where you are rather than where you were a year ago might be important to your physical and psychological survival.
For example, during a plane crash you have to be interested in staying alive or you don't. Whenever the world goes through a crisis like this one you have to stay very much in the moment to survive these sorts of things and think about how you can survive this right now.
A year ago might as well be forever ago now. What can you do right now to help yourself and your family and friends survive this?
Writing is one way to start to plan for the future and to heal yourselves and others along the way.
