What's happening to the Uyghurs in China reminds me of Stories like: "Bury my heart at Wounded Knee" in the U.S. regarding native Americans

Cultures slowly evolve (if we are lucky) through time.

For example, in Argentina ALL South Native American natives are now extinct in Argentina because of what happened there in their history. None survived (at least in Argentina then).

Could ALL native Uyghurs die in China like what happened in Argentina?

Hopefully not. But, just like in Argentina this is possible.

In the U.S. at least we eventually created Indian reservations for various tribes in the 1800s and 1900s. They usually weren't given the best lands but at least they were not driven completely extinct like in Argentina. So, hopefully some Uyghurs will not be killed or messed up for life by the Chinese just like some native Americans are still alive here in the U.S. now.
