Why?
It was just the right mix of Fantasy and reality in a post pandemic apocalyptic setting to make me feel hope for the human race that some humans will survive Covid-19 even if variants continue to spring forward worldwide like the UK Variant has and now the Indian Variant is too.
I think this was originally written for a YA or young adult audience but it also succeeds in various ways that other pandemic movies and series do not because mostly they just terrorize people. Whereas this one is very thoughtful and might give some people like myself hope for the human race to actually survive pandemics now and into the future.
However, what was the most important thing for me to make this more believable? This story only works if you have solar power or else most of what people are doing doesn't work. So, one of the most important things people need to do now is to get solar power to their homes in case it gets as bad from variants eventually as it does in this first season of this series.
