Where I live I get HBO so I was entitled to HBO Max but now they want me to pay for it even though I already pay for HBO so I probably won't use it anymore because I'm already paying for HBO, Showtime and enough streaming services already.
So, we went to visit my daughter and her husband in Santa Barbara and she was able to sign up for free because they have HBO there and Cox Cable because they are in Santa Barbara where that is available.
So, we watched "In the Heights"(2021) on HBO Max in Santa Barbara tonight.
It's a great musical and reminds me a little of West Side Story if there was no violence or gangs in it and a whole lot of Latin American Culture and singing and parties instead. However, there are still difficulties they are facing here in the U.S. instead like education and green cards and stuff like that.
IF you are like me it will also bring a tear to your eye at times too because you feel the people struggling to survive here in Washington Heights in New York City near the George Washington Bridge.
It's a great movie especially if you want to know more about Latin American Culture here in the U.S.
It was just released on June 11th so it's still pretty new to HBO Max and theaters everywhere.
