Fauci is unrealistic about next Spring being a time when we won't have to worry about Covid

Why?

Because even if we vaccinated everyone in Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. we still wouldn't be vaccinating all of Asia, all of South America and all of Africa and the pacific islanders etc.

So, the point being that variants would still be created in South America, Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands etc. even if 100 % of people were vaccinated in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc.

So, what he is saying is completely unrealistic unless 100% of all people on earth could be vaccinated and that (given the state of world governments) is an impossible request at the very least.

Because of this what I see likely happening is Variants continuing throughout this century and beyond simply because if variants can be created by the virus they will. IT's sort of like the common cold or flu that keeps mutating at this point through hundreds and thousands of years.

I see nothing presently to stop this constant creation of new variants ongoing worldwide. 

Note: As a result of all this if it continues I see world populations slowly plummeting down to around 1 billion or less by 2100 AD.

Of course something else could happen entirely than this too. There are always unknowns we are dealing with in life.
