Haven't found it yet.
But, it said something like:
Look to religion for order and for discipline in your lives
Because religion is where all civilization tended to begin.
Whether you believe all the stories you are told or not
Still the stories are what makes each culture on earth unique.
When I was studying Anthropology years ago now I was fascinated
by the thousands of different Creation stories in each tribe of people on earth.
I realized that all religions (no matter how big or small they are now) are all the same kind of thing.
People told stories to their children so they wouldn't go jump off a cliff when their mother or father or
best friend died. They did this to keep their tribes going so they wouldn't die out as cultures all over the world.
So, the stories they told to keep each other cheered up and alive kept all these tribes alive so they didn't all die out along the way.
I think it's useful to look at all cultures and religions like these tribes.
It's really less important as to whether ANY of these stories are absolutely true or not.
What is important is that we support each other in staying alive and sane and functional here on earth.
and Kindness of good stories allows the human race to continue for another day, another year another century.
So, the stories we tell keep us all alive to face another day.
By God's Grace
