It rained from about 2 am to 7AM this morning. There were mudpuddles in the streets so we must have gotten more rain than the last storms

I could feel the wetness in the air when I walked our corgi in the redwood forests near by where we live. When I got home soon it was drizzling all over our back yard and porch. And then late last night after everyone was asleep around 2 AM it started raining. I knew it was raining because our dog woke us up because the sound of the rain going down the gutters she thinks might be some animal outside I guess.

As you can see by the temperatures in the graphs below we are finally getting more winter temperaures for the san Francisco Bay area. This also allows more storms to drop rain on us too when the temperatures drop from Arctic weather coming closer to us. The pineapple Express from Hawaii is mixing now with Alaskan and Canadian Coldness so it's bringing snow to the Sierras and likely Rockies as well down to 2000 Feet locally here in California.

But, she soon quieted down so we could go back to sleep. She likes to sleep under our bed because she had the short legs of a corgi. So often I will wake up in the middle of the night and hear the dog snoring under our bed.

Here is the weather report for San Francisco and Santa Cruz on the coast

for the next week or so: as you can see the storms are finally getting to us like we need. It's good to have water to drink and all the plants and trees watered from the sky.
