I think for me it was difficult after reading that 75% of people dying of Covid are over 65 years of age because I'm 73 and it means people around my age group are the highest death rates. 21% of the people dying of Covid are 45 to 65 and 4% of the deaths are under 45 years of age.
This rate is very likely what is happening worldwide too.
So, yesterday I tried to find my inflatable Santa riding a Polar Bear that I have put up now outside in my front yard for several years. But, either my wife or our housekeeper might have thrown it away or recycled it last year. Then my wife went to Home Depot to find another inflatable Christmas decoration to put outside but they were sold out because of the Supply chain problem in Los Angeles and Long Beach. So, putting up Christmas lights I'm not feeling it this year as a result. Like I said it's hard to get into the Christmas Spirit when the whole human race's hold on life seems kind of tenuous this year not only because of Covid but because of Global Climate changes too. As tornadoes move out of Tornado Alley further eastward into denser and denser East Coast Populations it makes it harder to face Christmas because of this too. This is also a direct result of Global Climate changes too likely.
However, all this being said I also believe that whoever survives all this will be better prepared for anything or else they won't be around much longer either.
It's kind of like the philosopher Descartes said, "There is nothing so bad that no good may come of it and there is nothing so good that no bad may come of it."
Though you might find this a cynical statement, I have found this pretty much describes everything in life here on earth if you life long enough.
So, hopefully, some human beings will learn enough from all of this to survive all this somehow.
One way would be building cement and metal structures underground so tornadoes cannot damage them.
But, if you move underground then there also could be flooding problems sometimes too unless you were high enough in the mountains like Colorado Springs, Colorado or something like that. So, preparing for the long run could be difficult too, unless you waterproof your underground house and sort of build it like it's a submarine or something like that.
Hopefully, you are having a better Christmas season than I am so far.
By God's Grace
