I think it sort of went off the rails because of a game they played where Nicole Kidman likely believed they had played a practical joke on her. She was afraid of what was hidden in a box. And then the last thing was an actual "Fire Eel" which can give one an electric shock. So, I think to begin with Nicole Kidman felt pranked and wasn't happy. Jimmie seemed unhappy with what happened too so possibly heads will roll on whoever thought up this prank on the two of them likely. Because I think both Jimmie Fallon and Nicole Kidman both were pretty scared of the Electric Eel that could have shocked them both and maybe did through the water.
